How Moor Innovations Inc collects, uses and protects information in connection with NextIP.

Last updated October 6, 2026

What we collect

We collect only what the service needs to operate and to bill you accurately.

  • Account information: name, business name, email, phone number and billing address.
  • Service data: telephone numbers assigned to you, SIP endpoint configuration, routing and registered E911 locations.
  • Call detail records: calling and called numbers, date, time, duration, disposition and cost.
  • Message metadata: sending and receiving numbers, timestamps and delivery status.
  • Records of the terms and disclosures you accept, with the date, time, IP address and browser used.
  • Business verification: your business's legal details, tax identification number (EIN or Business Number), formation documents, and the authorised representative's name, contact details and government photo ID.
  • Technical data: IP addresses used to register endpoints and access the portal, for security and fraud prevention.

Call and message content

We do not listen to or analyse the content of your calls. Media is relayed, not stored, unless you have enabled call recording, in which case recordings are stored on your instruction and deleted according to the retention you configure.

Message content passes through our platform to deliver it, and is retained for the period shown in the portal so that you can read your own history. It is not used for any other purpose.

Business verification information

We collect business verification information to confirm who we are providing service to, to prevent fraud and unlawful calling, and to meet our obligations as a telecommunications provider, including the U.S. Federal Communications Commission's rules requiring providers to know their customers.

Tax identification numbers and uploaded documents are encrypted when stored and can be viewed only by the staff who verify accounts; each viewing is logged. We keep them for as long as your account exists and afterwards for the period the law requires, and we disclose them only to regulators or law enforcement where the law requires it.

Customer proprietary network information

Information about the services you use and how you use them, such as the numbers you call and when, is customer proprietary network information (CPNI). We use it only to provide and bill the service, protect it against unauthorised access, and disclose it only to you, to people you authorise, or as the law requires. We verify your identity before discussing call records with you, and we notify you of changes to your account's contact details or credentials.

How we use it

To provide and route the service, to bill you, to route emergency calls, to prevent fraud and abuse, to provide support, and to comply with legal and regulatory obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your data to train models.

Sharing

We share data with our carrier and telephony platform, our sign-in provider and our billing system only as needed to complete your calls and messages, deliver numbers, authenticate you, bill you, and meet regulatory requirements such as caller name (CNAM), E911 and number porting.

We disclose information to law enforcement only where compelled by valid legal process, and we notify you where we are permitted to do so.

Retention

Call detail records are retained for the period required by applicable telecommunications regulation and for billing dispute resolution. Account records and records of acceptance are retained for the life of the account plus the period required by tax, corporate and telecommunications law.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations. Contact us at the address on the Support page.
