Prohibited traffic
The following are prohibited and may result in immediate blocking or suspension:
- Unlawful robocalling, spoofed caller ID used to defraud or mislead, and any traffic that violates the TCPA, CRTC rules or equivalent local law.
- Unsolicited bulk messaging, and A2P messaging sent without valid 10DLC brand and campaign registration.
- Traffic pumping, access stimulation, or artificially inflated traffic of any kind.
- Toll fraud, PBX compromise, and any attempt to obtain service without paying for it.
- Harassment, threats, or messaging intended to defraud recipients.
- Reselling or rerouting service in a way that misrepresents its origin to an underlying carrier.
Caller ID
You may only present a caller ID number that you own or that you are expressly authorised to use, and only in a manner permitted by law. We are required to apply STIR/SHAKEN attestation to outbound calls and may lower attestation or block traffic where ownership cannot be verified.
Fair use of included minutes
Included minutes are for the normal calling of the people using each endpoint. Using an endpoint for autodialling, call-centre or conferencing-bridge traffic, or sharing one endpoint's minutes across many users, is not normal use. We may bill such traffic at the plan's per-minute rate, or ask you to move it to a suitable plan, after notice.
Security
You must secure endpoints registered to your account. International dialling is locked by default; if you unlock it you accept responsibility for charges resulting from a compromise. We may apply spend caps and block destinations where we detect anomalous traffic.
Enforcement
We prefer to contact you before acting. Where traffic presents an immediate legal, financial or network risk, we may block it first and notify you afterwards.
